Biography

Anthony was born and raised on a farm in rural Kentucky where he learned to love and care for animals of all kinds. He attended college at the University of Illinois in Urbana – with his “heinz 57” pup Jetta – where he graduated from the College of Accounting and Business Administration in 1986. After graduating he went to work for a Public Accounting Firm and later for an Investment Banking Firm in Chicago. During this time he married and soon adopted two cocker spaniels named Sport and Tiff.

In 1991, Anthony purchased his first company – a 62-year-old manufacturing company located in Chicago’s west loop. With plans to raise a family, he relocated the factory 200 miles south to a small community in central Illinois and added an English pointer named Murphy to the mix. Anthony dedicated himself, including much time and energy, to modernizing manufacturing processes, establishing and managing quality systems, and implementing the newest technology for strengthening customer service

During this time he added three wonderful children, Ryan, Maggie, and Max – and a rescue lab named Daisy to his pack. In May 2007, Anthony started an online pet supply company K9Cuisine.com. Hatched from his own frustration in sourcing quality nutrition for his own pet, he set out to become the online merchant-of-choice for premium dog foods and treats. Since that time K9cuisine.com has experienced exponential growth.

Anthony spends his days managing the many challenges, which arise from this rapidly growing business. He enjoys utilizing the latest technology in maintaining direct customer contact, receiving customer feedback, and helping people help their pets.

Owner of K9Cuisine.com loves solving problems, spending time with his family, and playing with his dogs. He stumbled into the pet food industry after struggling to find a consistent source of good food for his sick yellow lab, Daisy. Finding none to his satisfaction, he decided to create his own solution-K9Cuisine.com! An entrepreneur at heart, Anthony now enjoys helping families and their pets make life a little easier-and a whole lot healthier!
